Dinosaur Take-Away Egg: Blow up large balloons. Paper mache using liquid starch and newspaper strips. When dry, stick a pin through the paper mache to pop the balloon. Cut a small flap-like opening in the paper mache (just large enough to insert the largest take-away item. Fill with the goodies. Close the flap. Cover the opening with another layer of paper mache or masking tape. When the project is dry, paint with tempra paint. You can paint different designs or leave the eggs a solid color. During the party, place a nest of branches or palm leaves in the corner of the party room. As the children leave, allow them to choose their dinosaur egg to take along.
