My daughter's favorite Disney Princess is Cinderella. For her 4th birthday, she wanted Cinderella to come to her party. INVITATIONS/DECORATIONS: I purchased Disney Cinderella
invitations, cups, plates, napkins, balloons, tablecloth, and table decorations.
FAVORS: I purchased foam princess crowns and wands from a local craft store. I also got foam princess stickers and gemstone stickers to decorate the crowns and wands. I purchased Cinderella goody bags and filled them with princess lip gloss necklaces, stickers, rings, etc. CAKE: I ordered a Disney Princess Castle cake chosen from Cakes.com at my local bakery. The cake was gorgeous (it was shaped like a castle)and included figurines of all the Disney princesses. COSTUMES/ACTIVITIES: I found a local company that provided a childrens entertainer dressed as a Disney princess. I hired their Cinderella character. When the children arrived, I had the Cinderella movie playing and had a craft table set up. Each little girl was given a crown and wand to decorate. As they finished they were able to watch the movie until.......the door bell rang. On cue, I began playing a CD of choreographed Cinderella music and when my daughter answered the door, there stood Cinderella!! She looked sooooo real. All the girls truely believed she was the real deal. My daughter even asked how she got to our house from Florida (meaning Disney World). Cinderella came in and introduced herself to all of the little girls. She then took them into my living room and had them sit around her as she read them a story about Princess Manners. The girls hung on her every word! Then she pulled out a trunk of princess dress-ups and each little girl got to choose a Disney Princess costume to wear. Cinderella talked to the girls about how to use their princess manners (things like saying please and thank you, covering your mouth when you sneeze, etc) and then taught them to curtsy like a princess. Each child was then individually introduced by Cinderella as Princess (Child's Name)" to the parents and the little girls got to show off the cursty they had learned. Cinderella then played music and taught the girls how to dance like a princess. She took turns dancing with each little girl. GAMES: The children played "Pin the Glass Slipper on Cinderella" game (I purchased this from my local party supply store) and other princess party games provided by Cinderella. After games Cinderella applied a princess tattoo on each little girls hand and had her picture taken with each little princess. Cinderella even stayed for cake and ice cream. My daughter and her friends will never forget this one of a kind princess party!"
