My daughter wanted a dog party for her 4th birthday. When the kids arrived they put on their dog tail, and collar. I cut dog tails from strips of fabric fur found in craft store and tied a
ribbon to each on to tie onto childs waist. The dog collar was made from fleece fabric cut in to strips and sticky velcro buttons on the ends. The kids enjoyed this. I made her cake in the
shape of a doghouse, with a small plastic dog to the side. It had a blue base and a white roof, with her name on the front above the door. For the goody bags, I used white lunch bags, folded
the top down and glued either black or brown ears on. I drew in black the eyes, nose and mouth, and a red tongue. I filled each goody bag with a mini-frisbee, a blow-up ball (lots of younger
kids so I didn't want the small rubber balls), dog stickers and a small plastic dog. My daughter enjoyed helping with these. We played pin the tail on the doggy, had an obstical course, and a
barking contest. For food, I made puppy chow, kibbles & bits (pretzel sticks and cubed cheese), and little smokies. The kids really ate up the little smokies.
