This year my daughter turned 8 years old Our theme this year was dogs. I was able to purchase dog party items such as cups, plates,napkins and decorations from oriental trading. Party lasted three hours/Lots of fun. 1.  Each child had to bring a stuffed dog/animal for the party. We decorated baby tee shirts for each stuffed animal. On each shirt I ironed on a picture of a dog(variety of choices. Each child decorated the shirt   2. We separated the kids into two teams for a dog race. All the animals were placed in a pile, the kids raced on all fours to get there animal by mouth and bring back to there team.  First team done wins. 3.  We played pass the dog bone and the winner got a prize 4. We played find the dog bone. They had to find a dog bone with a number on it indicating what they had to act out(ie bark like a dog, play dead)  5. We also placed animal crackers on a plate covered with whip cream and each child had to race getting the crackers to a bowel. No hands mouth only. 6. We had a dog cake and gave out goodie bags with all dog related stuff.
