My daughter celebrated her 6th Birthday with a Dog Party". For the invitations and party ware we used "The Dog" theme paper goods available at Party express.  Games:  The kids played "Doggy Give the dog a bone (instead of pin the tail on the donkey) and a frisbee game where each child had a mini frisbee with their name on it they had to toss the frisbee and try to land on a picture of a dog for 10 pts.  Other pictures were also given a point value including a tree fire hydrant and paw print. The kids had lots of fun!  Favors: I gave each girl a mini purse (hand made by me with cute paw print ribbon but you could buy something cute from oriental trading) with a beanie baby dog inside. (I bought retired ty beanie baby dogs online on ebay oriental trading has generic plush dogs as well). The dogs were placed in a bundle all together and "were up for adoption". The girls each picked their dog and then filled out an "Puppy Adoption Certificate" on which they wrote the puppy's name and their name as the owner. Each girl also received a rubber bracelet with holes and several dog themed charms (similar to crocs charms/jibbitz)to snap in (lordandladies.com). These bracelets also doubled as a collar for their new stuffed friend.  So cute! Food:  Hot dogs people puppy chow little dog bowls for each girl decorated with paw print ribbon with cocoa puffs and scooby doo bone shaped graham crackers to look like dog food.  The cake was decorated with paw prints and Littlest Pet shop dog figurines.  The kids had a great time and this theme could also work well with a mixture of boys and girls- just substitute the puppy "purse" with a mini backpack.  "
