All the girls arrived at 6:30 for dinner. Then we went into the playroom/dressing room and tried on gowns and fancy dresses with accessories. We had a runway with lights on each side, balloons
and streamers hanging from the ceiling in the living room. We had dance music playing while the girls walked down the runway in pairs. They stopped to strike a pose for their photos. My older
daughter and her friend were the photographers for our fashion show & photo shoot. I thought the girls might get bored with all the photos, but let me tell you, 10 & 11 year old girls
can't get enough dress up and photos. After that they put on their pj's, posed for individual photos with their pillows. they had a pillow fight. They danced and sang to songs chose by my
eleven year old (The birthday girl). They had cupcakes and opened gifts. We chose a couple of good sleepover movies and the girls settled for a while. Then they just wanted to chat. The next
day I made pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and clementines for breakfast. Pick up time was at ten o'clock. For the party favor, my 22 year old daughter made each of the girls a slide show dvd
of all the pictures from the night, with a hershey bar. The party was a huge success. We had a total of ten girls. We all laughed and had the best time ever. It was great watching them
have so much fun. The party did not cost a lot to do. We had macaroni and cheese and chicken tenders for dinner. We borrowed dresses from friends and added that to what we had. We had rope
lighting and black table cloths leftover from hallowen for the runway. We bought paper goods and balloons and streamers. We had blank dvds in the house for the favors. I would suggest this
party to anyone who has girls who just want to have fun.
