My daughter was turning 9yrs. I do some professional photography (family, children, etc) part time.
My daughter's birthday is in the winter near a holiday so it is hard to get people to show. We decided to have her party around March. I decided to have a photo shoot. I ordered different necklaces, rings, bandana's, hats, crowns, sunglasses, bracelets from oriental trader. I also bought some adult size clothing - dresses and shirts - from a second hand store. I set up my backdrop (though anyone can create one with a tall stand, a sheet to drape over and some clips) and I set up my lights. I also had music playing in the backgroung. I then spread everything out on the bed and hung the clothing up. I also had makeup stations and the girls got to pick the color makeup they wanted to to wear. I would then apply it (like they were a model) My sister-in-law created the outfits (everything was done over their own clothing), got the kids ready and would send them to the living room. They kids would strike a couple of poses and then I would send them off for another outfit. We all danced around and had a wonderful time. I printed the photos up right there so they were able to take one home. They had a great!!! time.
