My daughter's 11th birthday party was Miss Universe considering she loved to watch those events. We had invited 12 girls and our invitations said,"We would like you to be a contestant
running for the Kendra's Mini Miss Universe Pagent" birthday party. Then we wrote where the date the time etc. When the girls rsvp
we asked them what country they'd like to represent. The day before the party, I went to Claire's accesories and purchases a rhinestone tiara. While i was still at Claire's i puchased a white, black and red gloves for all the kids. Then i headed to party city where i got each child a fluffy pink tiara for 5.99 each. For decorations i had puchased a red material at the Jo-Ann craft store. I had each child bring their swimsuit, and bring their talent.(we'd had evening gowns from previous flower girls). When everybody arrived we handed them a tiara a sash(made of white satin ribbon)and gave them a number in stations where they did their makeup, hair and wardrobe. When the pagent started they were wonderful. After one of Kendra's friends was crowned Mini Miss Universe, another was crown Miss congeniality and another was crowned Miss Photogenic. After the pagent we had Spaggetti and a cake shaped like a tiara.3 girls slept over and the rest went home.Their party goods were their fluffy tiara, their sash and a certificate thanking them for coming to the party and congradulating them for running in Mini Miss Universe. This kind of party will be inexpensive.
