For our daughter Stacy's 11th birthday we had a Miss Universe Party.For invitations we had bought these cards shaped as a  tiara. A week before the party i headed to the local dollar store where i bought favors,decor,etc.After that i headed to the Claire's accesories store where i bought a tiara,a pair of white gloves for each child(12).Then i went to Jo-Ann fabrics where i bought white ribbon for sashes.Also when i was there i bought a fabric marker.When i got home i went to write on the sashes with the fabric pen.For decor i had white and purple tableclothes with white plates and purple siverware.For food i served pigs in a blanket,mini tofu burgers,salad etc.the day before the party i went to Wal mart where i bought mini paper tiaras and plastic jewels  to decorate.The day of ythe party i served the food then let them get into my old gowns.We had Each child do one part of their beauty appearences.(hair and makeup).The we start the Miss Universe beauty pageant.After we crown Miss Universe 2006 we had cake which was shaped as a dress.When 8 of the girls left, we boogied down with a after party including movies and dancing before the girls left we gave them party favors which included a inexpensive rhinestone tiara from Claire's,their sash a purple ring,and a makeup the bags are shaped as a tiara.
