For my daughter's 4th birthday we did a pageant theme. I titled it the Miss Liberty 2007 Pageant" as her name is Liberty. I took photos of her in evening gown swimwear interview suit and
with her cello and a long dress for talent. I attached the photos to the back of a Miss Congeniality banner made of hot pink and silver ribbon. This is what I sent for the invite with the
information attached between photos I also picked a "pageant platform" for her party which was China-care.org and asked people to bring things for the orphanages in China in Lieu of
gifts for my Daughter. The wording for the invite was "In the Congenial Spirit of the Miss Liberty Pageant we invite you to celebrate Liberty's 4th birthday" I asked the girls to
wear something appropriate for a pageant photo if they would like when they arrived at the party I had our local Miss Wisconsin rep. Miss Oshkosh there I hostess for Miss Oshkosh so I know
her well and have been volunteering with the Miss Wisconsin pageant for years so I asked her to come most local reps. will come to things if they are available that day. Anyway she wore
a pretty dress and her tiara and as each girl arrived they sat on a little stool I covered in black satin and hot pink feathers and Miss Oshkosh crowned them as I took photos.
I had an area with dress up clothes which I labeled evening gowns I set up an area with a stage set-up and had a baton pom-poms microphone play guitar and other play instruments with a sign reading "talent". I also set up an area with ribbon and silver paint pens staplers and glitter and such with a sign for the girls to make their own pageant sash which it was so cute to see what they made. For treat bags in addition to the tiara's I bought make-up bags at Claire's filled them with crown candy rigns and bracelets tiny mirrors lipgloss and pens. Each had a crown foam cut-out atatched to the side for the boys I ordered Muscle Man USA 2007 trophys and gave them flag dog-tags and sweatbands with them. For babies I had rubber duckies with tiaras and books. I displayed the treat bags with signs that divided them into age categories as they would in a real pageant for babies it was "Baby Miss Liberty" etc. The cake was hot pink and designed to match my daughter's dress with a sugar tiara on top pink roses and a banner that said "Miss Liberty". I made my husband a T-shirt with my daughter's photos and a crown It read "If you are looking for my daughter she'll be the one with the crown" and "Miss Liberty 2007" I also made him a bunch of photo pins with her photo to wear so he looked like a pageant Dad. I wore a black sequined tank with a rhinestone crown trying to look like a Pageant Mom and Liberty had an evening gown and pageant style swimsuit. "
