Wedding Birthday Party for little girls age 4-7ish
When my daughter was about to turn five she had just been to a few weddings and when I asked what kind of party she wanted she said "WEDDING!". It was hilarious and easy. We found a wedding dress costume with veil. We made invitations on pink paper which we printed the following " The pleasure of your company is requested at the wedding celebration of Catherine on Tuesday, October the first a half after three at the castle of the bride. The favour of a reply is request (phone number) Please wear your most elegant bridesmaid attire. After printing we decorated with glitter, rolled them like scrolls and tied with ribbon and hand-delivered them. When they came we had wedding decorations, streamers, balloons from the party store and each girl modeled their dress. Then they made veils by attaching tulle netting and tiny fabric flowers to headbands. Next I put in a CD of wedding music and we lined them up and gave each a carnation tied with ribbon to carry as a bouquet and they processed down the hall and into the living room. Of course we had token boy serve as the groom and escort the Bride into the living room. No vows were exchanged! We moved right into the opening of the gifts. Next everyone was wowed by the two-tier wedding cake topped with a plastic bride and groom decoration. I got everything at Walmart I believe and this was an easy and inexpensive party. I think they really just enjoyed dressing up. You can embellish this with fingernail painting, makeup or what have you but our guests had a great time even with it being this simple. Best wishes for a happy birthday.
