Bride Party - 4yr. old - girls only My daughter turned 4 this April and we gave her a Bride B-day Party. We invited 11 other little girls and asked them to come dressed-up
(Pricess, Fairy, as they liked).
My daughter was dressed as a bride, of course. We made crowns as the opening craft. These were silver spray-painted crowns from Burger King and decorated with jewel like buttons, gold heart stickers, fancy gold trim (from a tailor shop), and all glued on with glitter glue which they got to keep. Next I passed out a present to each girl. Inside was a small kit of make-up, body tatoos, and Barbie stickers. They dolled-up and sprayed perfume I layed out at each table. They got to keep everything and the purfume was put in the Prize Bag for the girls to choose from in other games. We danced next and then played a game. I wrapped a package with twelve layers. Each layer had a hair accessory or braclet set. When the music stopped the girl with the package won whatever was under that layer. We then played Bride Pin-up. We traced a short, medium, and tall girl on three large sheets of butcher paper. Three lines were formed with short, medium and tall girls in respective lines. They were given a veil, flower bouquet, ring, or necklace to pin on the bride. The outlines were put up with masking tape and the girls blind-folded. They choose a prize from the Prize Bag after the pin-up and then the team with with best bride also got to choose a prize the same Prize Bag. The items were enlarged clip-art I laminated with contact paper and put masking tape on the back of each. Now, we moved on to Bride Bingo. They were each given a card with 9 wedding items (church, ring, groom, bride, cake, etc.) and I called out the items until someone got Bingo. For the markers I found a small clip-art bride that I copied and laminated with contact paper. Each girl got 9 markers. In total I had 17 pictures picked out to make different Bingo cards. They loved this game. It was a hit! Then we had cake which was a three layer wedding cake I made at home. Last we had a piNata which was also a wedding cake. All the girls had got a beautiful gift bag early on to put all their goodies as the party progressed and especially for the piNata candy at the end.
