I had a dress up glamor shots party for my daughters 8th birthday.
I had all my friends lend me their prom gowns, bridesmaid dresses and any fancy accesories. I went to the goodwill and bought the biggest and sparklist jewlery. I also picked up boas, hair accessories, hats, ect. I got a clothes rack and put it up with all the clothes on it. I let each kid pick their favorite. I had one friend set up at a table to do nail, one friend set up to do hair, and one to do make up. After a girl went to all stations I had her get her photo taken. I got a sheet and hung it on the wall. I cut stars out of poster paper and covered it with glitter. I hung the stars on the sheet and had the girls stand infront of it and took a polaroid of each girl.(one hint for wardrobe, I used clothes pins on the back of the dress to make them fit.I pulled the fabric until it fit and then used a clothes pin to hold it.) I also got foam paper and cut it out to the size of the pictues. I used this to make picture frames. I had them glue magnets on the back and decorate with foam flowers, hats, ect. I had little muffins and cups of tea served on a silver plater by a waiter who was walking around to the stations.(the waiter was my 6 year old son)I found purse treat bags. I filled it with play makeup, jewelery, candy necklaces, fingernail tatoos, ect.(all from the dollar store)
