I had a birthday party for a four year old. I sent out invitations That said Come to a Crazy Hat Party (It had a hat border of different hats had copied off the Internet) I put also put "Make or buy the craziest hat you can find," as guest started to arrive if they didn't have a hat, on both parent and child gave them a homemade booboo hat. One was a diaper it had wipes glued on it coming out the sides and I smudged chocolate on them. I went to thrift shops for decorations, finding any hat new or old I could. I hung the hats up all over the party room on the walls and hanging down from the ceiling. The games we played were silly hat games like pin the hat on the cowboy, hat toss, a the big hit was name the person who would wear that hat. The kids had to name people who would wear that hat like baseball player, baseball cap. I also found a hat shaped piñata. I got plastic hats From the party store and I served the ice cream and cake out of each hat (I let the kids keep the hat they ate out off the end of the party I make up Award certificate on the computer "Craziest Hat""Funniest Hat""Weirdest Hat""Most creative". Each person tat one got to pick a hat from the walls or ceiling. We had some crazy hat, one girl came wit a spaghetti strainer on her head with strands of spaghetti hanging out all over. Another one came with an electric train going around his head! I've had people call me and ask for more Ideas because they had such a blast!!!!!!!
