This was for a winter play date, and not a birthday. We get Cabin Fever here in Western PA, so this year we had 8 little girls over for a Dress Up Party. The invites were a picture of my 3 year old daughter in her Dress Up gear with the title "Girls Just Want to Have Fun."  We had large baskets filled with her dress up stuff spread around the living and dining rooms. As each girl arrived we gave her a straw hat that she decorated with ribbons and flowers.  Once everyone had their hats and boas and beads and all the rest on, we took a group picture.  Then the girls got to work transforming each other into princesses, brides, dancers and the like.  The moms even had fun wearing some of my old bridesmaid dresses! Not only was the play time really fun, each girl took home a nice bonnet (and just in time for Easter).
