The invitations were made on my computer to look like normal wedding invitations except announcing a birthday and asking each little girl to wear a white dress.
We made veils for each bride with headbands and inexpensive tulle. We made each child a small bouquet from daisies and provided each with a "diamond ring". Upon arrival, each little girl was provided with a straw broom(decorative kind) and a paper plate to decorate to make their broom groom. We glued to decorated plates to the flared end of the brooms and glued on a paper bowtie. Then each bride walked down the aisle to be married to her broom groom by the preacher/priest(my husband). Then the bride and groom came back up the aisle being showered with flower petals by the mothers. After each girl had her turn, we enjoyed cake(tiered of course) and apple juice in plastic champagne classes with each childs name on it. The brides were each given a bridal gift to take home. If you really want to go all out, have a white limo pick up all the little girls for the party and have their mothers meet up at the wedding to bring them home.
