For my 11th birthday, I had a beauty pageant.  The Pageant was called The Miss Halifax Beauty Pageant since I live in Halifax. I gave out invitations telling each contestant (friend) to pick a costume for the party, read a speech with reasons why they would be a good Miss Halifax. There was also an optional talent competition where the competitors could present a talent. At the end the judges and the announcer (the birthday girl) chose which person they thought should win Miss Halifax. We presented everyone with a special award with stickers(ex: The Never Ending Smile Award)and the winner received a tiara, a sash, and a prize. For the tiara, you can get very cheap in price ones at Party City, and we made the sash out of a strip of fabric & a safety pin.
