We held an Egyptian party for our daughter's fifth birthday.
Our party invitations were scrolls with hieroglyphic symbols on them. We had a pyramid shaped cake, painted paper plates gold and decorated them as Pharaoh collars, wrapped each other up in toilet paper as mummies, created a ring toss game with scarabs as markers, went on a tomb hunt to find necklaces and rings in a box tomb, served Middle Eastern food, and danced to songs like: "Walk Like an Egyptian" "The Soundtrack of Prince of Egypt" and "King Tut". We had a blast!
