Egypt Birthday Party We bought lots of inexpensive "Egyptian" decor.  We printed the invitations on papyrus and included the children's names in hieroglyphics on the inside and outside of the invitation.  We had a treasure hunt and gave some brass cats and goblets from Deals as the prizes.  The kids thought those were really cool.  I made a pyramid shaped cake (have a pro do this, it was difficult).  We decorated the table with a big camel and a bunch of plastic bugs and snakes. We watched The Mummy. We had a "Walk Like an Egyptian" and "King Tut" musical chairs.  Some of the cheapest decorations we got were cheetah/leopard print fabric and peacock feathers. My daughter LOVED it!
