Egyptian Explorer Party.
We invited kids to come join us in celebrating my son's 6th birthday and to explore the lost tombs of Egypt. We will have a contest where partners roll each other up with toilet paper (just like mummies). We will have a long strip of blue material (the Nile river) laid on the ground and the kids must jump from rock to rock or risk being eaten by the crocodiles! We will also go on an exploration using a treasure map and search for the lost tombs of Egypt in the "Valley of the Kings" (our yard and neighborhood). There is, of course, gold and treasure in the king's tomb. Goodie bags will have crocodile clappers, a magnifying glass, bubble gum gold coins, and some "jewels". Each child will also get his own pith helmet to wear while exploring. We will also have a pyramid shaped cake. We can't wait!!
