My granddaughter had a Fear Factor party for her 7th birthday Sept 17th well the party was on the 18th. Every kid was excited. We had a Black and Yellow Fear Factor cake with
edible rats, spiders, bugs and eyeballs on it and went with Black and Yellow for the theme...black table covers, yellow plates, cups, napkins. The party was held at the city park in a
gazebo. We separated the kids into three groups with 5 in each group..some of the kids would not participate after they saw the real worms.
For the first stunt, we handcuffed the kids and they had to dig in the dirt and worms to find the key, unlock themselves and then run around the gazebo collecting 2 flags with their team number and 1 fear factor flag...when they touched the time keeper - the second one on the team did the same, all their times were added and after the 3rd team did this and the team that took the longest was eliminated. Next each team was handcuffed together and had to dig thru semi live crickets to get the key once the first kid was free - the second and so on had to dig for their key ... team that took the longest was eliminated. That left 5 kids to compete. We then had tomato sauce with olives in it -"frog blood, guts and eyeballs...My daughter had signs for each stunt and also had a rhyme to explain it. The kids then put on googles and had 1 minute to see how many eyeballs they could put in a bowl...this one was fun and the one with the least number of eyeballs lost...the lone boy that was left was eliminated here...he could not get one "eyeball" and he was gagging...this left 4 girls, next we had "ostrich eggs" (whole canned potatoes) to eat..the one who ate the least in 1 min was gone. These girls were chewing like the contestants on fear factor, flapping their hands and gaggin like it was real. Next we had lemon halves and the 3 left had to suck the juice out and put it in a container...the one with the least juice was gone, you should have seen the sour faces. Now there were 2 and we had "worms" spaghetti noodles with "pig tendons" veinna saugages in then oh and we had plastic spiders and rats and such all over the noodles...these two had 1 min to dig with their mouth and get the tendons and then they had to roll a die to see how many they had to eat...if they got a 6 they had to eat none but the final thing was to drink the "fly" (raisins) milkshake...the winner got a goodie bag with gifts and money in it..we fixed everyone a tee shirt by doing transfers on the computer and ironing them to the shirts (we asked for rsvp on the home made fear factor invitations so we would have the sizes), we also did fear factor logo on sticker paper and took the labels off little bottled water and made our own labels for them...had the birthday girls picture on it to...these were in placed in goodie bags along with candy and some rubbery bugs and things. Everyone had a great time, good laughs and pizza with plastic bugs on them. For decoration, we had yellow and black Caution tape and snakes, rats, bugs, spiders along with a FEAR FACTOR CHALLENGE sign. This party was a great success and now every kid we know wants a FEAR FACTOR party...the fear factor people are losing out by not having FEAR FACTOR party theme supplies and decor, but we enjoyed doing our own...Oh be sure to have plenty of wet towels, film and a video...the kids had a ball watching it later.
