FEAR FACTOR Birthday party.  We hosted this party for my son's 10th birthday last week.  We had a total of 24 kids attend. We made his invitations on the computer using the "FEAR FACTOR" logo.  They said: Colton dares you to take a "FEAR FACTOR" challenge...(inside) to BRAVELY celebrate his 10th birthday!!  The Plan: Partake in disgusting challenges, compete for prizes, eat cake and snacks and dance. As guests arrived, they got to choose a FEAR FACTOR BADGE (also made on the computer on label paper).  They could be on the FEAR FACTOR OUTLAWS, FF Dare Devils, or the FF Team Extreme!!!  It was a beautiful evening and we had the party outside. Challenge #1 was called "Egg in the hole" Each team lined up at least arms length between each other.  Each team got 1 dozen eggs and at the end of the line was a large empty cool whip container...with a hole cut in the middle of the lid. The challenge was...to break each egg and pass it to each person and get as much egg "goo" in the hole at the end. They would get points for finishing quickest and points for the most goo.  Challenge #2: called "We want a catcher" Each team appointed a catcher. The catcher held a cool whip container on his/her head and each team member took turns tossing water balloons into the container....the team with the most unbroken and caught balloons won...each team received points for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.  When the winner was announced...they had a free for all with the water balloons...then on to challenge #3 "3 legged race" Not like it sounds...this challenge had each participant tie panty hose around their waist with a grapefruit in the toe of the other leg...that "3rd leg" was used to bat a ball on the ground from point a to point b and back...then, the next team member took his/her turn...until everyone had went.  Again, points were given to the team who won first, second, & third.  The final challenge..#4 "bubble trouble" Each team was asked to appoint their best bubble blower.  The bubble blower was presented with a cool whip pie that had a peice of bubble gum buried in it. Without their hands...they had to dig into the pie...find the gum...and chew it and blow a bubble...all teams were in a frenzy screaming for their team mate!!! It was a blast.  My oldest son was the first to blow a bubble...he did a little celebratory dance...said.."oh yea..oh yea!!" and proceeded to cover his whole head with leftover cool whip. Again...they had a free for all with the cool whip!!! The Team Extreme had the most points and they won gold dollars taped to Big Candy bars, Outlaws won 50 cent peices taped to smaller candy bars and 3rd place Dare Devils won State quarters taped to mini-candy bars. They had a blast.  We ate cake & ice cream and cleaned up using towels and the water hose...then as the evening cooled off...we went inside to dance.  My kids had made the living room into a dance floor with lighting and music. I think the party was a big hit and I heard it was the talk of the school the next day!! I would sure recommend it!!!
