This site helped me come up with many good ideas for our last 2 fear factor parties. I wanted to share some of the best ideas that worked for us... well the ones the kids liked the most. My kids are 3 years and 2 weeks apart. One boy and one girl... so fear factor worked for both and we just had a combined both parties... They loved it! Starting with decorations... For our front door we got a yellow poster board and wrote fear factor on it and hot glued different bugs and creepy crawly's on it.(my kids helped with this, they loved it.) Also we printed off some of the pics from the fear factor web site and added it to the poster. (even parents were going gross at the front door!)We did another poster board for all of the guest to sign(my kids keep this in their room to remember the guests and the party)We did the yellow and black balloons, bugs all over the place. It looked great! The cakes were from Sam's club and they did it in yellow and black, with the fear factor logo, and we put plastic bugs on them.(oh the black frosting turned all the kids and adults mouths black! it was a great bonus!) Each year my husband and I did this we made a script for Joe" and "Joette". Joe starts off with the introduction(just like on fear factor...don't try at home we are train professionals etc.)We have our friends help out with the video and the scoring and timing. It helps put less stress on us...we have had 18 kids each year! Ages 3-13!  Joe then talks about the rules... No fighting listening to Joe and Joette for instructions to ensure everyone's safety and SOME STUNTS WILL BE ADJUSTED FOR THE LITTLE ONES and we don't want anyone to argue about that! We had so many kids that we used name tags and we did put all the names in a bucket and pulled the names at random for every stunt.  We didn't want to eliminate anyone so we did points with a poster board with every child's name and all of the stunts listed. First place got 0 points Second 1 Third 2 Forth 3 Fifth 4 and every one else 5 points. The winners to go to the finale was the top 3 with the lowest score. Then those three compete in a obstacle course to be the champ and win a trophy that read the year and the Obviously Fear is Not a Factor for YOU. (The cost was like $13 bucks.) Here are the favorite stunts in the last two years (we are having another one in April) 1. Gumball find... we got pie tins and filled them with goop noodles olives tomato sauce sprouts etc. All the kids were lined up with their tin at the same time we gave them one minute to find the gum ball and chew it up blow a bubble...little ones just had to chew it. MINUTE was up! No one found it! Joe then with a evil grin looked at all of the kids with orange faces from the tomato sauce... and waived the bag of gum balls and said.."oops forgot to put them in..." kids were upset... parents were rolling with laughter...PS tomato sauce slightly leaves their faces orange...It was great! 2. Kitty litter handcuff race... kitty litter box kitty litter that clumps vinegar and different sized tootsies rolls that are wet... kids were handcuffed and had to run and find the key in the kitty litter(they thought it was real with the nasty smell of vinegar)it was timed. 3. Dice roll...we had six different gross foods. kids had to roll 2 dice and eat the foods that correspond with that number...(we made our own fear factor puke bucket that was actually used every year!)The foods were... 25 year old egg...AKA boiled egg soaked in coffee for color and flavor! rotten fish...AKA sardines moldy cheese...AKA blue cheese dog food...AKA spam chopped up habenero peppers...AKA jalapeno pig stomach bile...AKA lemon juice The worst for them to stomach was the egg and the blue cheese. We had to use the bucket on those two. 3. Can you...the kids had one minute to consume one real chocolate covered cricket! They screamed while they chewed it up they gagged they plugged their noses they jumped up and down. It was priceless! We thought all the kids did this one...until we watched the video one kid dropped it and then stepped on it in the dirt... 4. Bobbing for... We got a clear plastic tote and filled it with water. We bought 50 of the 10 cent gold fish from walmart and put them in the tote. We then told the kids it was time to bob for apples fear factor style. Joe then lifted the sheet and the kids saw the tote and the ONIONS that they had to bob for! kids really hate onions! They had to bob for 2 onions with the fish swimming around... the onions were very hard to get. We would scream that watch out for that fish and tell them that fish were swimming up their noses... it was great! 5. The first finale was the 3 with the lowest score... they had to do all of the stunts in the fastest time. They started with running from one end of the yard to the other side and pick up a boiled pigs foot with their mouths bring it back to where they started then run back and pick up a pigs ear with their mouths and crawl back to the start. then had to eat a "hot dog" AKA a Vienna sausage injected with jalapeno juice! And once that was down they had to throw a water balloon at "Joe" and get it to pop to make time stop. The fastest won the trophy! 6. The 2nd finale we used Flags (a flag banner that we cut the triangles off)we wrote the letters F E A R on them and placed them in all of the stuff from the previous stunts. So there were 4 stations in four corners of the yard. The kids had find all the letters that spelled FEAR in the fastest to win! One flag was in the fish the goop kitty litter and a container of worms. First back won the trophy. OTHER STUNTS THAT WERE FUN JUST NOT HUGE HITS: 1. Frozen toes... stand with one foot in a bucket of ice water the longest 2. Balance.... stand with one foot on a can of veggies the longest This is what we are going to do this year...But my kids are now 12 and 9 so they asked for no little ones this year. So we are not inviting the little ones to this party just the cake and ice cream that we have on their actual birthdays.  1. We have those Caricatures pics of each of my kids that you get at a fair. We are going to make copies of them and draw bulls eyes on them. We are going to place each pic on a board. Kids will then  have to shoot a paint ball gun at their friends pic. each ring is going to represent the number of shots of Fear Factor shake they have to drink... We are going to blend up in front of them butter milk sardines lemon juice 25 year old eggs and blue cheese. Pour each of the kids their # of shots to drink! The guest will get to keep each of their caricature of their friend with their marks on them. 2. Handcuffed and find the key blindfolded in GREASY dog food. this should be fun to watch. They will be timed. 3. Transfer... we are going to have them transfer the most gross foods only using their mouths. They will have to carry them across the yard. We are going to use livers pig feet cow tongues and tripe. They will be timed. I am still looking for a 4th stunt and working on the finale. That is why I came back to this site. I am thinking about ordering some larvae online but I am not sure. Please add more thoughts on this... I have a couple of months but you all know how much planning goes into these parties. Oh this year we are doing a different kind of cake. We are making a KITTY LITTER CAKE! Putting it in a new litter box and using a new litter scoop and if you warm up tootsie rolls a bit in the microwave you can form them to look gross! I hope that you enjoyed my story! I look forward to hearing more about yours.  "
