Mexican Fiesta party 30 + (held July 2000) - The invitations were done on southwestern themed computer paper inviting guests to spend an evening south-of-border. Our yard is large so we
set up a tent with tables for eating. My husband constructed an outdoor bar area made out of wood and stone - it was so nice.
We served only bottle Mexican beers (corona & and Margaritas (frozen)! We hired an authentic mariachi band to entertain the guests. Everyone danced with the band and used the morocco favors! The yard was decorated with sombreros from Mexico, moroccos, chili pepper string lights, cactus centerpieces on each table, plastic margarita glasses, and the food buffet was all mexican food - from enchiladas, tacos, nachos, steak/chicken fajitas, taco layered salads, and much more! I found fiesta partyware at one of the local party stores. I also purchased sombreros (Oriental Trading) and gave one to each guest. All the guests are still raving about this party and its been (3) years.
