For my birthday party i did a fiesta kind of theme. i wrote the invitations in spanish.(use a translator if needed)in my backyard i played mexican fiesta music and but the sombrerros everywhere!we wore the mexicanish clothes(vintage shop) and played games. We did things like a scavenger hunt for certain things and then had a rendevous at the end to see which team won! We had to find clothes and put them on and the who ever won got to swim in my pool longer. We also had a mexican dance off and won prizes i got from the dollar store(gum, candy, any thing your friends are into)later on we had salsa and chips and tacos. I had everyone sleep over and we continued all the fun activities. That night we watched (educational) as you may call it, movies about what living in mexico would be like. my friends totally got into it and we started talking in spanish to each other too!! it was so much fun!!  hope my ideas help!   ~BrIdGeT~
