I gave my 4-year-old a Finding Nemo party.
For invitations we used turqoise blue paper and stamped under-sea plants on the front. We punched heart shapes out of orange paper and used three to make a fish shape. We painted on white stripes outlines with black marker and glued on a googly eye. Then we glued it on the under-sea scene. Inside I wrote the information. We got the plates, cups and napkins at the grocery store. On arrival the children could choose between a water table where they could fish with magnetic fishing poles or pour water and a craft table where they could decorate fish with stickers, glitter, crayons, sequins, etc. After everyone was given adequate time we went out to the back yard and tried to find Nemo in many eggs I had hidden throughout the yard. In each egg was a small version of the fish on the invitation with a challenge written on the back. The children had to try to jump on one foot, walk like a crab, swim as fast as they could, etc. For food, we had pizza and soda. I made a cake with turquoise icing and plastic fish from the dollars store. We had over 15 kids so I also made cupcakes with one plastic fish on each one. For goody bags they each got a plastic tumbler with crazy straws, fish fortune tellers, bubbles, plastic sunglasses and sidewalk chalk. We all had a great time.
