Finding Nemo - 4 year old Since Finding Nemo just came out I couldn't find ANY party ideas. So I had to figure some out on my own. The first game was a fishing contest. I cut out several
sized fish from construction paper, numbered them with a number from 1-5, and glued magnets to them, I then made fishing poles from sticks, string, and a magnet, I had 5 prize buckets, so
when they were done fishing, they received a prize from the bucket with the numbers on their fish. For prizes I used fish stickers, nemo toys, gummy sharks, rubber balls with fish printed on
them, and other assorted fish toys. They put their winnings inside their tackle boxes, which I wrote their name on with a paint pen. Then we played "Find Nemo". I gave
the birthday girl a plush nemo and had everyone leave the room, she hid the nemo somewhere in the room, and when she was done, we had the other kids come in and find it. The first guest to
find it received their treat! The treat was a can with gummy worms inside blue tissue paper. They looked great. We kept playing until everyone had found nemo and received their treat. Now it
was time to take a break and eat some cake.. I couldn't find a store that had Nemo cakes, so I bought a sea cake, and printed a picture of Nemo off the internet and had it laminated, and
stood it up in the cake. It looked so good! I received tons of compliments on the cake. For decorations I scattered sea shells on the tables and we bought all the finding nemo party
supplies we could find. The house was decorated in orange and white (the color of nemo) streamers and balloons. I also handmade out of posterboard very large cut outs of Nemo and Dory.
Now the kids were even more hyper, so I needed some new games, so we played pin the flipper on the shark. I also made the shark out of posterboard. Then she unwrapped presents and they played together for a little while. I received alot of compliments on the party. It went over great.
