My two year old daughter loves nemo so i decided to do the theme 'Under the Sea' as it gives a broader subject to handle. INVITATIONS: I made her birthday card on photoshop by putting different sea animal pictures with a light blue sea background and with her pictue in the middle of it wearing sunglasses. I got it printed as a 4*6 picture format and pasted silver sticky paper at the back. On top I wrote Happy Birthday and at the back i pasted a flourescent green sticky paper with welcome to under the sea...at the ----reef.Made light blue envelopes myself and put the card in with the little fish's(invited) name on top. Everyone loved it. DECORATIONS:I had the birthday in my garden and garage combined. I bought different coloured thick chart papers and made various sea animals..nemo's friends and sea horses, turtles crabs. Jelly fishes i made from painting top of paper plates ink and blue and spraying glitter on top and on the other side i attached lots of streamers showing jelly fish tentacles..all of this i hung from ropes from one end of the garden to another by twisters...i had a light blue net tent to cover the top of the garden as it is too hot in karaci at this time of the year.I dd the same in the garage area..i put up a big blown up fish on the center. I made a huge shark from light blue paper stuck it on styrofoam and put it on the ground with five small shraks around it nailed on sticks and put in the ground beside it i put a sign board saying 'beware of sharks'... ACTIVITIES: i put two Bg paddling pools in the garden with small plastic balls inside..all 24 of the children loved the pool..(asked all of them to bring swimsuits and towels)in the center of the garden i set up a big beach umbrella with two small chairs underneath and a signboard saying 'take your pictures here'..filled twoo small paddling pools with sea sand and decorated styrofoam crabs and turtles on top.Also put a big chart paper with gree crepe paper on top and asked children to do handprinting.   Cake: i got a big blue square cake made with two orange nemos on top...it was chocolate fudge as most of the childen love chocolates. SNACKS: sandwiches, chips, popcorn, small sticks with pieces of BBQ chicken... FAVORS: I bought small toy fishes,fish sharpeners and erasers, i also got small rubber sea animals that grow in size wen put in water, a small plastic bottle filled with bubble fluid , some chocolates, all of this in a blue sea world gift paper bag. Everyone loved the party, decorations and favors...it was a big hit and my daughter had a blast.
