For my son's 3rd birthday party, we had a Finding Nemo Pool Party on Memorial Day. As the guests were arriving, the kids played in the paper pool". You MUST have one of these on
hand if you have a pool party and there is a chance for rain. It did rain at our party but didn't rain on our parade! We had a large wading pool with 1" strips of long blue paper we
purchased at a teacher supply store and cut ourselves. We made fish out of poster board with candy stapled in the center and threw them in the pool. This was a huge HIT!!! If you could only
see the pictures. We grilled out hot dogs with all the fixingschips and lemonade. I've found keeping it simple works best with food and young children. We had a big orange bowl with
individual sized Gold Fish with blue streamers mixed in and a plush Nemo in the center. The kids got a kick out of it! All the chips were in baskets with blue tissue paper that looked like
water. It made for a very cute food table. The cake was store bought with figurines of Nemo & Dory on top. The ocean looked as if it were spilling over the front side of the cake...it
should be very easy to do...I just didn't have the time this year. A Finding Nemo Happy Birthday Banner I bought at a party store and Nemo balloons were our main decorations. I laminated a
large Nemo and 10 tails..you guessed it! Pin the tail on Nemo was a huge success! Very easy to make and well worth it. We had a Nemo pinata filled with toys and candy. Since we couldn't go
out side we utilized our wading pool once again. It was a pull string pinata & an adult held it over the pool while the kids pulled the strings. Less mess! After the rain stopped the kids
jumped in the pool until their lips turned blue and then it was time for the favors. I got sand buckets at a local dollar store and filled them with pool goodies and side walk chalk. I got
tons of compliments on everything. Here are 2 more ideas that are SO cute but my printer wouldn't work...of course. Go to www.disney.com and find the books you can personalize. Click on
whichever theme it is you want...they have several...and personalize a book for each child. They're about 5 pages each. I would print them in black & white so they can use them as
coloring books & it doesn't waste your ink. On the same site you can make pin-wheels with Nemo or any other character. This would be a fun craft idea with older children. "
