For my son 3rd birthday I gave him a fishing party. I sent fish shaped invitations inviting all sailors to come fishing for their dinner at Kendall's house. Each child was given a sailor hat
and empty gift bags for collecting candy and prizes at the different game areas. I decorated the privacy with blue plastic tablecloth and cut waves to look like the ocean with plastic fish
cascading down the fence with plastic anchors and plastic life preservers it was really neat. The tables were decorated with fishing net and fish shaped bowls with gummy fish and gummy worms
inside. As for games I painted 3 large boxes blue with different sea creatures and fish painted on the outside of the boxes. One with 3 different fish painted on and holes cut out for bean
bag toss. I use different shaped sea creatures for tossing. The second box had "Going fishing" with sea creatures painted on it was used to fish out candy
and "fish shaped" gift boxes. The third painted blue with waves like the ocean with fish cuts used as a water gun squirt game for squirting fish. Two kiddy blowup pools was used for fishing out candy and party toys. A plastic kids pool was filled with water and used for an octopus ring toss game. I also put live gold fish in the pool and each child got to fish out one to carry home at the end of the party. Each child was given a fish shaped beach ball. As for food I had a 3-D sailboat cake setting on top blue and green plastic wrap along with gummy fish.
