Activity: Give each child a small fish bowl. Let them put different colored rock in the bottom (available in big bags at pet supply stores) and choose from plastic foliage.
Then give each child a gold fish (real) to put in their fish bowl to take home. Game: Attach a clothespin to the line on a fishing rod.
Let each child go "fishing" for a prize. Throw the clothespin over a makeshift wall. The "fish" behind the wall will clip a prize to the clothespin. Make a fish birthday cake: Find a fish picture you like and trace it with frosting using a small frosting tip onto parchment paper. Lightly press parchment onto frosted cake. When you lift it off you will have the outline of the fish. Fill in with colored frosting using a star tip.
