My 13 year old daughter is having a sewing birthday party. This cake is kind of tricky. You will need a ralphs or costco store close to you, a bag of mini mashmellows, a box of rice crispie
cereal, and a jar of frosting.
Then comes the hard part. You put about 3 cups of marshmellows and about 2 cups of rice crispie treats in a microwavable bowl. Heat it for one minute. Then take it out and stirr it up. Put it back in the microwave for half a minute. Then get ready to sculpt. If you have a sewing machine it is a good thing to have it be your guide. Then make 1 big sewing machine out of rice crispie treats. If they are dry add more of the ingredients. Dont make it too huge. Then comes the fun part. Get out the frosting. Take out two small bowls (it matters what your color theme is Olivia's is purple and blue). We had food coloring in all different colors. We put a good sized dollop of frosting in each bowl. Then we put some squirts of color in each bowl we mixed them too. We also have this little cake decorating set for children with a push squeeze. We like to use that better than pastry bags. Then we took a butter knive and dolloped all over the "sewing machine" with pink or white frosting. We think the more frosting the better. PS: You might want to chill the rice crispie sewing machine in the freezer for a while before frosting it. Then smooth the frosting out and make it look like a sewing machine. You can add piping of the buttons the dial the thread. Then when your all done put the sewing machine on the cake. It will look cute and be delicous. I hope you try this recipie. "
