When my son was turned one he loved cheerios, so I had a cheerio party for him. I got red, yellow and cheerio cardstock and paper for the invitations and then wrote "a bowl and a spoon
and a little bit of milk, its a cheerio kind of day our birthday boy (name) is turning one! Cheerio hip hip hooray!! Then time and place etc. I got clear envelopes and filled the bottom with
real cheerios. I made a cake that looked like a cheerio by making a large round cake with the middle cut out. For party favors I found the cheerio play books that you can get at any books
store and tied black, red and yellow. I rented small tables and chairs and put bunches of red, yellow and black balloons on them with cheerios sprinkled around. We just played simple games
and did presents. The kids loved it and my son was thrilled with seeing his favorite treat all over.
