The best birthday party idea I have (and it is a time saver) is to line cupcake pans with the cupcake wrappers and scoop the ice cream into them. Do this the night before the party. Then when the party comes and it is time to serve cake and ice cream, all you have to do is take the cupcake pan out and serve. No fuss and no mess.
