For my son's third birthday, we had a Frog party. We started by renting a castle moonwalk for all the little froggie guests to hop in! We sent invitations that read.."Leap on over to our
pad, Jackson is having a Hoppy 3rd birthday... date, time, etc. follwed with Ribbit your regrets..." Then we went to work on decorations. Everything was GREEN-- balloons, streamers,
plates, cups, napkins, tablecloths. I also found a lot of frog garden accessories and placed them throughout the yard. We even found two plastic frogs that croaked as guests passed through
the front and back doors! For food, we had:
Fried frog legs(chicken nuggets),french flies fries), Lily pad fruit salad, Toad-slaw(coleslaw),Bull-frog baked beans, and Pond Water punch(in a galvanized bucket with floating frogs, of course!)We also served green ketchup for the nuggets and fries-- the kids loved it! The cake was a pond scene with frogs and said "Hoppy Birthday Jackson" and was served with green mint chocolate chip ice cream. We played hop-scotch, leap frog, opened a frog pinata, and jumped in the moonwalk. For party hats, the kids made frogs out of green plastic visors and craft foam cut out into eye and flipper shapes. The goodie bags were full of Frog things that I ordered from Oriental Trading and US Toy catalogs. The kids and parents loved this "Toadly Awesome" Frog party!
