HAWAIIN BIRTHDAY PARTY GAME  CROSSING THE RIVER  I used 2 big pieces of cardboard (Refrig box)& construction paper, made 2 palm trees that stood up on their own.  In the middle I atttached a roll of bubble wrap, using scrunched up paper bags & markers I made it look like a waterfall with the bubble wrap coming out of the rocks & rolling across the floor. Object of game: to walk across the "water" without popping any bubbles. Hint: Keep the children's shoes on - it makes it more difficult. We ended up playing this game 3 or 4 times before the party was over.
