For my sons 6th birthday, he chose a Spongebob theme. One played a relay game called Jelly Fishing. I had the kids divid up into two teams and form a line. At the signal each team raced across the yard (this is not an indoors game)to a table with two bowls, one for each team. Each person had to reach in pull out a rubber fish (shells or any other item could be used), race back and tag the next person. First team done, wins. The things that made this game so fun to play and watch, was that the bowls are filled with grape jelly. We also played Put the pants on Spongebob" in the manner of pin the tail on the donkey."
