To open presents for my birthday party, we played Musical presents. It's musical chairs but you carry the present that you bought for the birthday boy/girl. If you're the one who's not sitting in a chair when the music stops, the birthday boy/girl get's to open yours. This is a really fun way to open presents without fighting over who gets to go first or last.
