Since I have a September birthday, I wanted to do something to do with the fall for my 11th birthday. My mom suggested apple picking. We cut out invitations in the shape of apples out of construction paper(red, green, and yellow) and wrote the information of my party on them and sent them out. As the 6 girls I had invited arrived around 11 am, we had pizza and took off for the apple orchard. We had a blast picking apples and visiting with the farm animals. when we had gotten enough apples, we returned home and decorated paper bags with markers and leaf and apple stickers. we put the apples into large tubs and let each girl fill up their decorated bag to take home. my mom had printed out booklets apple recipes for the girls to take with their bags. It was one of the best parties I ever had, and one I'll always remember.
