Ok, for my party, I did a Halloween party. It ws sooo much fun and will do it again next year, but anyway.....We first planned our party and the time, date, place, etc. and then we were
looking for the right cards to send out for my party. We looked in stores but they just didn't have what we were looking for so we looked online and we found it! It was at a make-your-own
cards website and we got the cutest card....it had little cats and pumpkins and the pumpins had different looking faces (it sounds dorky, but it was really cool). Also because we couldn't
decide what SUPER SCARY movies to watch, we put in a little index card with a little box to check if they could or not and what movies to vote on. I invited 9 girls and only 7 could come. But
I told them to dress in there costumes when they came in and it was realy awsome because people dressed in the weirdest things, like one girl dressed as a Christmas tree and the other dressed
as a matching present to the tree. I dressed as a dead poodle girl from the fifties and another dressed as a dead cheerleader and then a renaissance queen and some other stuff. While we were
waiting for the others to come in, my mom had completely changed our kitchen and the table to look as scary as possible. She had litterally layed out a buffet of food to eat. She had made
some hotdog mummies and a strombolli snake and some "mold" (the punch with sherbert icecreams and ginger-ale mixed together). For the hotdog mummies, she had taken one can of
biscuits and rolled them really thin, and then wrapped them around the hotdog in a downwards-spiral kind of way and left a little opening for the face at the top. Then she put it in the oven
at like 350 for about ten minutes or so. Then we took them out and put little drops of ketchup and mustard on the little opening so the "mummies" had eyes and a mouth. It was really
delicious! I don't remember how she made the strombolli, but it was good too! Then she made 24 chocolate cupcakes with the little Halloween sprinkles, and those were gone in a flash because
they were delicious as well. And then of corse we had candy and chips and other things layed out. As soon as everyone arrived, we gave them their goodie bags. What we did was get some party
paper bags and we colored them with markers and put all these halloween sysmbols and things and we glued sequeins and other things to it. They looked really cool! Inside we stuffed them with
all these little halloween party favors from Oriental Trading Company like halloween pencils, little caldrens filled with candy, whoopie cushions, skeleton necklaces and keychains, and more
cool stuff. Everyone was playing with the whoopie cushions all night! Anyways, they loved their giftbags. Then my mom all took us outside in the carport and said "Who wants to bob for
apples!" Everyone was so excited because we had never bobbed for apples before. I ended up going first by popular choice, and I missed! Everyone went after me and they ALL got the apple!
So I went last and then got the apple. The peolpe had kept on to their apples and then we took those apples and made caramel apples, which were really good. Also, there was one apple with a
little X on it and the person that had that apple got a prize! While we were waiting for the apples to dry, my mom then took us out to the side yard, and on a tree, she tied a big pumpkin
pinata! In order to find out who went first, we did it by birthdays. I was in the middle and ended breaking the pinata, and the girls went dashing on the floor for the candy. It was like
feeding time at the petting zoo! But it was soooooo much fun. After that we all changed in our pjs, and went downstairs for limbo. We used a broomhandle for the stick and me and my mom were
holding it. The person who won also got a prize. Then we settled down to tell scary stories, which terrified me to death, but everyone else loved them! Then, we voted oooon the movie to watch
and it was: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre! I stayed up all night in paranoya! But it was so awsome because I had never seen it before so it was cool. By then it was like 11:30, so my mom went
to bed, but we stayed up untill 2:30! We did hide and seek, the scary way, and truth or dare, and some other cool stuff. The first person who fell asleep, we put makeup on her, and she
actually didn't care, to our suprise. Then we all eventually went to sleep. We all woke up at 7:00am and my mom had made us bacon and eggs with orange juice. It was really good. Then the
parents came and we all said goodbye! That party was litterally the party of the year and everyone was talking about it! It was just so fun, I can't even describe it. But the worst part was
cleaaning up, but it was worth it.:)
