We just had my daughters 7th birthday party on Oct 26th 2002.With her birthday so close to Halloween we did a halloween birthday party.First i did my invations on white paper with black
writing and bats all over the paper. On the envelops i put spider stickers they were black spiders and the sticky part was clear so the spiders looked real(one person told me that when they
pulled it out of the mailbox they almost drop it because they thought the spider was real). My husband and i worked for days outside getting ready. we had a haunted house, we turned our lean
too off the side of our barn into one scary haunted house. We had glow in the dark spider webs(use black lights on them to make glow). At one end of the lean too we had a dead person and had
tool around it like it was about to be put in the ground. We put fake blood on everything. My little girls Aunt dressed up really really ugly and sat in a chair and as the people went through
the haunted house she jumped up and scarded them(the kids and adults loved the haunted house).I have a very big yard and a woods. In the woods i put glow in the dark eyes on the trees and a
big strob light to make it look very scary. I made tomestones out of gray fome and painted them with glow in the dark paint (craft dept of walmart has the paint). with words on them like Hal
O. Ween 1600-1700 and Van Pire 1666- they really looked good and i did this to play the bone hunt game.I made bones out of white board and put clues on them and each clue would lead the kids
closer to a prize that i had hid.Only if they were not to scared to go to the grave yard. I made clues for kid 3-10 years old and clues for kids 11-18 years old. This game was alot of fun and
the kids loved running around the yard looking for a prize. We had a very big bond fire for everyone to roast hot dogs and to get warm by (it was a little cool) so many adult said it had been
years sence they had roasted a hot dog on a fire. The whole time the party was going on i had set up a trivia game for the adult to do with only halloween trivia on it (the adilts loved it)a
prize was given to the trivia winner. Also i had guess how many candy corn is in the jar for kids and adults and the winner took home the jar of candy.we also did the plate game i put numbers
on the bottom of the cake plates then i called out number if that number was on thier plate they won a prize. After hotdogs, games, gifts, and cake everyone was invited to go on a hayride and
everyone went kids and adults. This was the best party i have givin my little girl she also had the best time. favors of candy and a halloween pincel were give to the kids and a bat made out
of fun fome was given to the adults. With a total of 52 kids and adults at this party it is one my daugter and i plan to do again next year.
