I'm turning 13 soon, and I'm going to have a Harry Potter sleepover, since I'm a really big fan of Harry Potter! For the invitations, I'm going to buy light baige-ish construction paper(should be found at a craft store). I'll write:                                                     HOGWARTS SCHOOL                     of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY                                ~~~~~~~~~~~                      Hosting the party: (your name)           Dear(put person's name here),            We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at          (your name)'s (put age you are turning) sleepover party. When they arrive,I will have them throw gnomes,(I'll sew dolls that resemble gnomes)at a target, or over a drawn out line. The targets, and/or lines will each have points, the more points they get, the more wizard coins(made out of Shrinky Dinks material)they'll get. Then I'll lead them 2 my backyard, with a sign that says, Diagon Alley. There'll be shops that look like the shops do in the books. They will go to Ollivander's wand shop and buy their wands(sticks sanded down, hollowed out to put in a Phoenix feather, dragon heartstring,or unicorn hair, and topped at the tip of the wands will be a crystal-like stone). They will pick the wand that's best for them, then pay 7 golden galleons, and go to the potions shop, and buy slime, and other stuff on their list, including phials. They will go to Eylope's Owl Imporium, and they will buy stuffed animals. after they have all the stuff they need, they'll walk through platform 9 3/4(walk through the front door, then walk through the hallway, to the kitchen,(the great hall) I will have butterbeer set out,(butter mixed with rootbeer) Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans,(or just Jelly Bellies) chocolate frogs,(either gummy frogs dipped in chocolate, or chocolate molded in a frog mold) pumpkin juice(pumpkin pie filling mixed with heated apple juice, with sprinkled cinnamon), Droobles best blowing gum,(blue gum) fizzing wizzbies,(wax bottles shaped like test-tubes). They will eat hamburgers, or pizza, whichever they choose to eat, then they'll be sorted by the sorting hat(a hat I'll sew from brown-ish material, with patches. They'll take a quiz, that will determin what house they're in, while they wear the sorting hat. They can play quidditch, by using either brooms I'ved made, or brooms they've bought at the Quiddich supplies shop. There'll be goals, where they'll shoot the quaffle through, and they will try to find a snitch(stuffed quidditch ball, or spray-painted ping-pong ball)whichever team wins, will get a prize, and house points.  They'll go to potions class, and make a sour potion candy(corn syrup mixed with unsweetened Kool-aid, from the packets, mixed with a little water). They'll put their solution into test-tubes(you can find them at a teacher supply store). They'll go 2 care of magical creatures, and learn about the different pets I have, then they'll learn spells in charm class, and be splitted in two different groups,(2 houses per groups)and be quized to see what they've learned(one person from each group will be asked a question, if he/she gets it wrong, they loose a point from their group, a house point subtracted from each house in that group. If he/she gets it right, they win a point for their team, a house point for each house in that team). They'll hear some mysterious noises(some creepy sound efects I'll record), and then go outside(where they hear the noise)and try to find the Sorcerer's stone, and will have to get past my dog which I will pretend is Fluffy, and go behind my dog's dogrun, to find the stone,(a red spray-painted rock)sort of like a scavenger hunt. The house that finds the stone, will get house points, and will be rewarded with a prize. Then they'll go to defense against the dark arts, and use the charms they've used with their wands. Whoever does a better spell, or casts it first at the other person, gets house points, at the end, the winner gets a prize from the prize couldren,(a journal, cards, etc.) They'll go to sleep after watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets, and then maybe read some HP books. The next morning, they'll have pumpkin pasties(carrot cake muffins). There will be a house cup ceremony, where the winning house will be rewarded, and'll have their house flag put up. I hope I helped anyone who needed ideas:)
