I got alot of ideas for my 12th birthday from this site, but i have a few of my own. I'm going to have a Hollywood/ movie party. I wanted to keep it simple, but make it fun. It needed to be
cheap, easy, and exciting for everyone. I'm inviting 9 girls to go out to see a movie and have a sleepover. Sounds boring, right? Well, i also came up with some awsome games we could play.
The first one was American Idol. I have a game on my gamecube called Karaoke Revalution, so i use it. Each of the ten people pick out of a hat. The possibilities are: Simon Cowell (Judge)
Randy Jackson (Judge) Paula Abdul (Judge) Ryan Seacrest (host) American Idol (Singer) Audience There will be 5 people in the audience. Once you have been a judge, you cannot be one again
until everyone has gone. You MUST sing a song if you pick the American Idol. You can be good, funny, stupid, whatever. You just HAVE to sing at least once. The judges will rate everyone on a
scale of 1 to 10 (1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest). The judges may also refer to the score that the game gives you. It catches mistakes such as pitch, timing, and volume. The
judges will average the scores to get your rating. You can pick any song you want. If you choose to, you can choose a member of the audience to perform the dance sequence while you sing (this
is only in a specific game mode). You may also choose a member of the audience to sing with you as a duet. If you choose either of these options, the person you pick does not have a choice
and must do what you choose them to do. May I warn you that if the judges refer to the score that the game gives you when you have two people, you have a greater chance to get a lower score
than you would normally. The host does what a host does. She can refer to the screen and report the score, audience level (which the audience should refer to: more in depth later), judge
expressions, etc. The audience should refer to the audience level. If it is high, for example, the audience needs to be clapping along, yelling and screaming, and just going crazy for the
singer. If the bar is at it's lowest, the audience should be sitting around looking bored, pretending to sleep, etc. The American Idol (AKA: the singer) needs to sing (obviously). You can
choose: A song Whether or not you want the lyrics being sung (this does not effect your score in the game) The game scoring difficulty Full song or partial song Microphone volume level (may I
advise you that the judges should and will go with the score that the game gave you if they could not hear you)
I thought that it sounded like a blast! Another game is called No Mirror Makeover. In this game, you try to apply makeup to yourself without looking in a mirror or getting anyone else's help. Whoever looks the best at the end wins. I'm not giving out prizes though. We are going to decorate the basement with pictures (i got these off the internet) of cameras, film strips, and set boards. We also want to hang black and white streamers in there too along with maybe some black and white balloons. I want to do a red carpet up the stairs outside up to the door and maybe leading to the basement. The red carpet will just be some fancied-up fabric. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!1
