My Birthday is on a Sunday and I'm not allowed to have a big sleepover because last year the girls keeped on talking meanwhile Mum was in the other room trying to sleep, A disaster But with help from a few people on www.birthdaypartyideas.com I have Gathered infomation and my 11th birthday party is going to be wicked.  Theme: Be a Movie Star for a Day. What Girls Like: Sleepovers, shopping, pampering, movies.  How many to invite: Invite 4-10 girls to make it fun. I'm going to invite 5. Invitations: Do them on the computer. Done on pink fancy paper, sprayed with perfume and say in fancy script, "Dearest .....(Name), please come to my party? Be a Movie Star for a Day, 4th February. Please bring your favourite CDs and some, jewellery if wanted, glam jeans, a fancy top also a dress (if not, a skirt and top something suitable for the Oscars). Everyone who's someone will be there!" Then fold them up, put them in fancy blue envelopes and put a big lipstick kiss on the sealed part of the envelope. Inside the envelope I will include a ticket to the Oscars and a voucher for one "very expensive, exclusive" treatment at Natasha's beauty parlour. These were both made on the computer.  Schedule: This Party should start on Saturday morning and end on Saturday night. It will emphasise the "Movie Star for a Day" part. Firstly, the girls arrive at my house for a makeover. I will have four stations- Pedicures and manicures in the Kitchen, Hairstyles in the lounge room, Make-up in the dining room and Wardrobe in my room. I will decorate each room with a "Zoe's Beauty Parlour" with lots of glitter on it and sparkles. I also will put out magazines and turn the TV on in the lounge room so the girls could watch it while they were getting their hair done. Each girl when they arrive will and give me their coupon, Then I will give them a satin drawstring bag with their name on a tag. I will tell all the girls that I would be filming us in a movie that would come out in cinemas in a few days so we needed to hurry. We will need to get made over first and then come out for the filming of the movie. In pedicures and manicures, we will soak our nails, put hand cream on, and then push back our cuticles. Then we will polish them, and I will provide nail decals, diamantes and other little bits and pieces to make our nails look really fancy. (TIP-Write initials with the diamantes! Or just make hearts or stars). Then they will each get a nail polish bottle to put in their satin bags. In the Hairstyles section, we will partner up and do our partners hair. I will have all sorts of hair clips, hair ties ECT. Everyone will get their hair made up differently and can watch TV or read a magazine while it's being done. Everyone will get a mini-shampoo for their satin bag. In Make-up, again we will do our partners then they will do ours using mascara, eye shadow, blush, glitter and lip-gloss on everyone. They will then all get a lip-gloss for their satin bag. Finally, in Wardrobe, I might put movable coat racks on each side of the room and defiantly a "change area" made by sheets? And then add some jewellery and finishing touches. Everyone will get a fake gold bracelet for their bag. We finally will go into the back garden, which will be really cool. Our deck will be set up like a stage for the play, and there set up will be the video camera. There will be a table on the side with carrot sticks, celery, dip, crackers, water and a bit of fizzy. Mostly healthy food. My mum will be standing by with blush and hairclips just in case. I will pass out copies of a script I will make up. Also I will make a big Hollywood sign to put in my room and I will also make stars on the floor of my room with their names printed on it. Then we will get changed out of the costumes into our normal clothes. We then will have lunch, mini hot dogs since I heard that some celebrities are hooked on hot dogs, salad and "star-studded ice cream"- vanilla with caramel chips! We will then have a girly chat, truth or dare and watch a movie. Then it will be time for the Oscars so we will re-style our hair and put on the dresses that they brought. Then we will apply glitter. We will try to find a red carpet (just a long red piece of material) to put down in the back garden. First we will get filmed walking down the red carpet, and then we will all have a sparkling apple or lemonade (in a champagne bottle). After that, I will get the movie together and give them as DVD's to the girls at school. There will be credits at the end and everything! Then mum will go up and present clay, gold-painted Oscars to everyone. There will be "Best Actress", "Best Hair", "Best clothes", and Best Smile, Most Radiant, Most Confident, Funniest and Best Make-up. Then I will get an extra Oscar, "Best 11 year old". Then she will show a tribute to me in my eleven years- baby photos and kiddie photos. Then we will all have a slice of a chocolate cake shaped like a camera with icing. We will have snacks- chips, lollies and some fruits and vegetables during the day, and then we will have a little dance. For favour bags I have the satin bags I am going to give them. To that I will add mints, make-up and some other girly things . Then about two weeks later I will give everyone a copy of the movie we are going to make, the Oscars and the music video. GAMES: Music Madness- go online and get lyrics of the latest songs that you like and pick 4 lines and print the 4 lines off on one paper and on the other you will have the whole song along with the name of the artist and song. Then you will put all the 4 lines in a box and the box will be passed around and when the music stops, the girl will have to pick out one of the songs lyrics and try to guess either the artist or the song, If she cant guess then she will have to read it out to the rest of the girls. And at the end the person with the most right will win a prize. Lipstick Darkness- Each girl receives a lipstick for there favour bags, and all the girls at the same time are blindfolded and have to try to put there lipstick on the neatest in five seconds. The person with the neatest will win a prize. Do you prefere to kiss on the lips or on the cheak- Before blindfolding each girl at one time. let them use their lipstick from their favour bags again then blindfold the girl and then the girl has to kiss a poster of a really cute guy.
