For my sister's 10th birthday party, I came up with a Hollywood theme. First, we made real formal invitations, asking each girl to come in very formal wear, like a celebrity. For decorations, we had a red carpet coming up the driveway, and into our door. We had balcka nd red table cloths on the tables, with gold and silver glitter on them. We had gold and silver balloons. A few of my friends and I were standing around the on the red carpet with badges we made. One friend had a badge from PEOPLE magazine, another from US Weekly. I had a badge from "E" like a reporter from the channel. We asked them questions like "How long have you and Aaron Carter been dating" or "Is it true about your fight with Hilary Duff?" ,funny things like that. When we got all girls inside, they danced and socialized while my mom called them into the other room. She gave them a photo shoot with her digital camera. They did activities like "what celebrity am I" and decorated t-shirts. We also came up with a short script and mad each girl read from it. We already had characters picked, but auditions and stuff were just fun. Then it was filmed on my mom's video camera. At the end they watched it just for fun. There were snacks, like normal, and for dinner they had pizza wiht pop in wine glasses. We had an awards ceremony for "Best Actress" and "Funniest" or "Best Dressed" and "Best Hair". Each girl got an award. Party favors were their photos, t-shirts, awards, and other things like candy, lip gloss and nail polish. They were in little red and white popcorn boxes, like the movies. It was fun, adn my sister loved it.
