For my 12th birthday I invited my friends over for a "film festival". I made each of the invatations into the shape of a movie ticket and wrote down all the details needed for the party. When my friends arived I had them pick numbers out of a hat from 1-5. The person who had picked number 1 would choose the 1st movie the person who picked number 2 would choose the 2nd movie etc.(because it was a sleepover we had lots of time to watch all of the movies). Half way through our film festival my friends did a quiz on movies that me and my Mom had written. Here are some examples of the questions I used:  Name 12 movies starting with the letters S and T. Ignore the, a and an at the beginning of the name. Do not include sequels e.g. Shrek 2.  Name the villains in the following movies:  a.Beauty and the Beast  b.Little Mermaid  c.Lion King d.Emperor's New Groove    We also played pin the star on the walk of fame I got movie themed snacks and put them into popcorn bags that I got from a movie theatre and also ordered in pizzas. My cake was shaped like a bag of popcorn. For the loot bags I got decks of cards for everyone with famous movie stars on them and some dvds (you can buy used ones really cheap at blockbuster even though there almost new). I also added in movie theatre coupons. It was alot of fun and everyone had a great time.
