Hollywood Premiere Party - For my daughter's 7th birthday, we're planning a "Hollywood Premiere Party". The invitations are handstamped with cameras, stars, and glitter (You're invited to the Hollywood Premiere of....Cassidy's 7th Birthday Party!". We will tape red plastic tablecloths up the driveway for the "red carpet". Each girl is receiving a hand-made "feather" boa (made from plastic tablecloth strips tied to pantyhose - idea from BH&G Magazine) and sunglasses. Upon arriving, each girl will decorate her own straw hat (from the dollar store) with glitter & tissue flowers, then eat star-shaped sandwiches and "hors'd'ouvres" served on plates with a make-up mirror design from Birthday Express. After lunch, we'll dress-up and take a picture along the "walk of fame" - stars with each girls name written in chalk on our sidewalk! There will be star-related party games and prizes, and hopefully little "Academy Awards" if I can find some chocolate ones or make my own! And the cake, of course, will be star-shaped! It should turn out to be a real star-studded event!
