Alexa's Hollywood Premiere Birthday Party First-Invitations.
I purchased Wedding Announcement Tri-folds/formal and put out formal invitations. The front read: You Are Cordially Invited to Alexa's Hollywood Premiere Birthday Event Sunday, January 21st. The Middle Opening: Where, Date, Time and RSVP. The last section: We will be providing an IMAX Movie experience, etc. Please attend in Hollywood Attire (Be Elaborate!), start with IMAX theatre tour/projection room, then off to the movie A Night In the Museum" IMAX. Following the children will be escorted for cake where they will be served in style. At the Entrance we had then walk down the Red Carpet where they posed infront of an inflatable "Tony Award". A look alike 4 foot inflatable with a stand on the opposite side announcing the movie "A Night In the Museum". IMAX was in the background Huge letters. As they walked unto the Red Carpet the ladies received a rose (faux) and the boys a Top Hat. Then they posed for a picture. Then they went for a tour of the Projection Room - up the stairs and down a glass elevator. BIG hit with the 5 year olds. Off to the movie. They sat and popcorn and lemonade was waiting for them. (The drinks should be refillable/pay for drinks once). First Rate Service. After the movie. Off to cake. They walked out of the movie to the Red Carpet once again for paparrazzi opportunity. They were escorted for/given time for Premiere Potty Break! They came to tables which held their goody bags and champagne glasses. Goody Bags: Girls-sleeping night mask high heel frame lips whistle gum coins and ...................heart lollipop. Boys-Groucho Marx Face Mask Craft frame lips whistle gum coins and heart ..................lollipop. The champagne glasses had writting: You're A Superstar Hollywood Here I come etc. Then I took silver wire with stars on it and wrapped it onto the stem. The cakes were 2 stars: A chocolate and vanilla cake. The wait staff held the cakes as they sang "Happy Birthday" and she blew out the candles. It was great for the children and pictures/they opened the goody bags and were in Groucho Marx with their suits/toasting the champagne glasses as they were served by a wait staff dressed in black shirt and pants with aprons. Perfect Touch. The formal Invites were about $10 for 50 invitations. Including Printing. The children showed up with hair-do's in tuxedo bow-ties sunglasses high-heels boas and huge smiles. Formal Attire and Fun. The Party was fit for all the little stars that attended! Truly a Red Carpet Event!"
