Hollywood Party - Girls age 7 to 9
Can be done anywhere. Music is a must, the latest teen pop star aka Brittney Spears/Back Street Boys works. For an activity the kids are given dime store sunglasses as they enter the party to decorate later with sparkles, felt flowers, and dime store jewels. Other activities included teaching a dance step to their favorite music which they performed in groups later for a contest. Food was served in bite size pieces on silver trays. I kept it healthy, grapes, sliced apples, chocolate covered strawberries. The cake was a pink sports car, you could to a star shape, or fancy layer cake too. Standard party games like pin the tail on the donkey was modified to "help Brittney find her CD". Using a teen poster and photocopies of a CD cover, the kids had to aim for a particular spot on the poster. To end we did party had tattoos and sparkly face painting. Have fun!!!
