I recently gave an "ice cream crazy' party for my daughter's sixth birthday.
Here's what I did: 1. I sent out invitations in ice cream cones stating when the party would be. 2. I made aprons for each girl, white and pink polka dots with an applique of an ice cream cone, 3. As party favors, I made homemade playdough in different colors and arranged them to look like a sundae wrapped them in cellophane and attached an ice cream cone cookie cutter. (These were a huge hit.) 4. For the party game, we played pin the cherry on the ice cream sundae and the person that won got to make their sundae first. 5. The ice cream sundae bar consisted of everything from gummy bears, M&M's, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, cherries, carmel syrup, whip cream, sprinkles and the kids go to choose the ice cream to start with. A huge success, the children felt so pleased with their creations. 6.
